Manual Handling

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 focusses on assessing manual handling operations in order to reduce the risk to those carrying out those tasks.

AIM OF COURSE:    To carry out risk assessments of manual handling operations and/or to understand safe handling techniques (see course options below).

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:   Those responsible for manual handling risk assessment such as managers, team leaders and supervisors and for people who have to carry out manual handling tasks such as office staff, catering staff, cleaning operatives, warehouse, building maintenance and manufacturing personnel.  We can advise which course is most suitable for your requirements.

DURATION:   2 hour (practical only), half a day (practical only) and one day (risk assessment and practical) 

PROGRAMME:

LOCATION:   In house only.

NUMBER OF ATTENDEES:   Up to 8 attendees.

PRICE:   Our course fees for London and the south east are as follows:-

One day course     £600.00 plus VAT
Half day course      £375.00 plus VAT
Short 2 hour course (practical only)    £350.00 plus VAT

WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES:  Provision of the course for up to 6 attendees and training material for each attendee.

CERTIFICATION:   Each attendee receives a Smart FM certificate of attendance.

OUR TRAINERS:   Our trainers have a wealth of experience in health and safety. They are registered to deliver accredited courses and have been training people in manual handling for over for 10 years.
