Health and Safety Awareness

AIM OF COURSE:   To give attendees an awareness of health and safety issues in their working environment.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:   This course is bespoke to suit the roles of the attendees.  It can be delivered for employees such as health and safety co-ordinators, IT personnel, maintenance workers and supervisors, and cleaning operatives. 

KEY BENEFITS:   Understand basic legal requirements, identify hazards and the understand the importance of reporting them, basic risk assessment, working without risk to themselves or others, learn the importance of co-operating with employers.

PROGRAM:   (please note that the following are examples and will vary depending on who is attending and on your particular working environment).

LOCATION:   In house or an external venue.

NUMBER OF ATTENDEES:   Up to 6 attendees per course.

PRICE:  In house 1 day course for up to 6 attendees - £450.00 to £500.00 plus VAT depending on location.

External venue - please apply for a price.

WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES:  The provision of the training course for up to 6 attendees and a training manual for each attendee.

CERTIFICATION:   Each attendee receives a personal Smart FM certificate of attendance.

OUR TRAINERS:  Our trainers are Members of the British Institute of Facilities Management, NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) qualified and highly experienced in health and safety training.

OUR TRAINING STYLE:  Relaxed and interactive.  We recap throughout to help with the learning process and if the delegates wish, an informal test takes place at the end of the course so that attendees can measure the knowledge they have gained.
