Fire Safety Training
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that those people nominated to be responsible for fire safety must have suitable training to undertake their duties.
AIM OF COURSE: To give personnel with fire safety responsibilities sufficient knowledge and understanding to undertake their duties with regard to fire safety.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Fire safety personnel, fire marshals, fire officers.

DURATION: Either half day or one day.
PROGRAMME: We deliver courses either with or without live fire extinguisher training. When delivering practical fire extinguisher training, we use state of the art, environmentally friendly fire training simulators, so your fire marshals can experience first hand the use of extinguishers in tackling a controlled fire.
We also include photographs of the particular site at which we are delivering the training, to provide a sense of relevance to the attendees.
Our courses all include:
- Action to be taken on discovering a fire
- Action to be taken on hearing the fire alarm
- The means for giving warning of fire
- The means of escape in case of fire
- The means for fighting fire
- Fire prevention
- Fire protection
- Arson control
- General fire safety awareness
LOCATION: In house only.
NUMBER OF ATTENDEES: Up to 12 attendees.
PRICE: Our course fees for London and the south east are as follows:-
Half a day without live fire £300.00 plus VAT
Half a day with live fire £450.00 plus VAT
Full day (or two half day courses on the same day) without live fire £450.00 plus VAT
Full day (or two half day courses on the same day) with live fire £700.00 plus VAT
WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES: The provision of the course for up to 12 attendees and training material for each attendee.
CERTIFICATION: Each attendee receives a personal Smart FM certificate of attendance.
OUR TRAINERS: Our fire safety trainers meet the 'competent persons' criteria as defined in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. They have extensive experience in fire safety training and are either IFE (Institute of Fire Engineers) registered or former experienced fire brigade officers.
