The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require that employers undertake risk assessments of their premises and activities that take place within the business.
Activities often include working with display screen equipment, manual handling, working at height and working alone. The Health and Safety Executive provide excellent guidance on the risk assessment process in their publication, 5 Steps to Risk Assessment.
