Fire risk assessments

Reduce risk and get piece of mind

A fire risk assessment is a systematic process used to identify potential fire hazards, evaluate the risks associated with those hazards, and implement appropriate control measures to reduce or eliminate those risks.  It is a key element in fire safety management and helps ensure that a building, workplace, or any other environment is safe from the dangers of fire.

Fire risk assessments are a legal requirement for all types of business premises including the common parts of blocks of flats, regardless of size, under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.  As part of the fire risk assessment, we also assess compliance with more recent legislation including the Fire Safety Act 2021, Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 and the Building Safety Act 2022.
