Case Study : Direct Debit
Initially Direct Debit asked us to write their health and safety policy for them which in effect formalised a lot of the arrangements they already had in place and also provided a firm basis for moving forwards.
They were also growing fast and felt they needed some key personnel to be responsible for managing health and safety within their offices in New Malden. Some of the key areas that we covered in their Management of Health and Safety training course were health and safety legislation, accident investigation, risk assessment, fire safety, electrical safety, first aid, lone working, driving at work and the risks associated with working away from the office. As all our courses are bespoke for each client, we are able to tailor them to their needs. We have since run several courses for Direct Debit over the past four years and they chose to subscribe to our telephone/email support service which is there when they need more in-depth knowledge and expertise to deal with difficult issues.
Smart FM has also carried out workplace audits for them from time to time so that they can be sure that they are complying with the legislation.
