Case Study : City Gateway
City Gateway asked Smart FM to carry out a complete review of its facilities management functions across its five sites in east London, including the helpdesk function, planned and reactive maintenance, daily cleaning, housekeeping and front of house, security, fire safety and office services.
Following the review, Smart FM worked with City Gateway to implement improvements by establishing formal management procedures, budgeting, documentation and reporting systems and a programme of training and mentoring for the facilities team. The outcome meant a more motivated, efficient facilities team, clarity for all staff around the way the buildings operated, an improved working environment for everyone and useful management reporting systems in place.
